The Club Sneakers Care Guide
Hand-picked Italian leathers, a hardwearing rubber sole, bonded and stitched construction: we've done our bit to make sure your Club Sneakers go the distance.
Here's how you can return the favour.

Rule n°1 : Give them a breather
You'll know this already if you've got leather shoes in the wardrobe: wearing them several days on the trot isn't a great idea. Give the leather a chance to breathe by rotating between your pairs.

Rule n°2 : Store them properly
Pop a pair of wooden shoe trees inside your sneakers if you've got some at home. They'll help them hold their shape over time, soak up moisture, and get rid of any unwanted smells. Cedar wood is second to none for this job, if you want to do things by the book.

Rule n°3 : Keep them clean
You could see this one coming. It's the most tedious step, but the good news is you won't need to do it every five minutes. A proper polish once a month will do the trick.
Here's how it works, in 6 steps:
- Give your sneakers a rough dust-down with a cloth or microfibre.
- Dry-brush the outsole with a soft, fine-bristled brush. The aim here is to shift any grime and dislodge the dirt that builds up around the stitching.
- Remove the laces, then go over the rest of the shoe with a soft brush (upper, tongue, eyelets, suede panels).
- Grab a chamois cloth and a specialist leather cleaner, then rub your Club Sneakers in circular motions to shift any remaining marks.*
- After that, you can apply a shoe cream that matches the colour of your sneakers to nourish the leather and keep the colour looking fresh.*
- Finish up with a coat of waterproofing spray to protect your handiwork and save you from any water damage.
*Steer well clear of the suede panels during these steps. These only apply to the smooth leather parts.
There you go. Stick to these golden rules and you should easily double their lifespan. There's a reason people say maintenance is half the battle when it comes to durability.
