Not any time soon, put it that way

A sneaker that doesn't hold up is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

That's why the Club Sneakers are built to be properly solid.

• Rubber outsole that shrugs off wear and impacts
• Strobel construction, glued and stitched, to keep the sole properly in place
• Flex and abrasion tests passed with flying colours so they can soak up the miles and anything else life throws at you

Add in European leathers selected for their quality and strength, and you've got a pair built to last years.

The best Italy has to offer

Italy doesn't just do great pizza. The country has serious form when it comes to craft, including leathers. For the Club Sneakers, we went with three world-renowned tanneries we know and trust.

• Mastrotto for suede : matte, velvety, rich
• Poletto for smooth leather : supple, clean, full-grain
• Faeda for smooth leather : livelier, with a subtle texture

You'll forget you're wearing them

A slim sneaker is great. A slim sneaker that's also comfortable is even better.

• Leather + mesh lining. It’s a kind of open-knit netting, for a good balance between support and breathability
• Dense, thick insole to support the foot
• Full-length EVA foam. A lightweight cushion to support every step you take

The Club Sneakers feel good from the very first wear, and provide comfort that actually lasts.

It's called Strobel and it doesn't miss

Most sneakers that fall apart, and they do so for one simple reason: the sole is only glued to the upper. Quick, cheap… but not exactly long-term.

We took a different approach. The Strobel construction is a method that firmly bonds the upper, the insole board and the outsole together.

• Double assembly: glued + stitched. This prevents any separation
• Internal Strobel stitch to permanently connect the different parts
• Reinforced topstitching on stress points
• Assembled in Portugal, by the craftspeople at Rilix
