Care Guide for the Cord Trousers
A few tips to keep your cords happy, so you can have a wale of a time together for years to come.
Washing it
You can put your Cord Trousers in the washing machine, preferably with similar colours. Anything up to 30°C is fine. Just turn them inside out to protect the public-facing texture. Two or three washes a year should do it - unless a major mishap comes into play.
We always suggest going for liquid detergents rather than powdered ones, as those can leave marks on darker fabrics.
Top the wash off with a gentle spin. Try and keep things nice and mellow at around 800/900rpm to avoid any damage to the cotton’s fibres.

Drying
Dry your cords al fresco, preferably in the shade.
Once they’re dry you can use a soft brush on the cord to give your trousers their original look and feel back.
Whatever you do, keep them out of the tumble dryer and don’t go near them with bleach.

Ironing
If ironing’s your thing, that’s fine with us, but we’d suggest keeping things cool - say 110°C max - without steam. To be safe, we’d recommend ironing them inside out, so as not to risk scorching the velvety outer.
