Care Guide for the B10 Bomber
Created almost a hundred years ago by the US Air Force, you can count on it to clock up the air miles, provided you take good care of it.

Washing it: One shot
- When the time comes to clean it, don't take any chances, but rather take it to the pros, as in your local dry-cleaners once a year.
- However, should you choose to, you can machine wash it. Just remember to remove the wool collar before putting it in the wash. We recommend machine-washing it on a cold setting - 30°C max - with similar colours and using liquid detergent - and max 800rpm to rinse it out.
- Whatever you do, no tumble-drying. Just let your B10 Bomber air-dry on a hanger, avoiding direct sunlight.
- The removable collar can benefit from more regular care, so feel free to wash the collar by simply soaking it in cold water with a drop of natural soap.
- Last but not least, you might want to boost the Bomber’s water repellency after every wash with a few sprays of water-proofing.

Stains, no need to overdo it
The B10 Bomber's 100% cotton canvas fabric is a hard one to leave marks on. Here's how to take care of any stains that try to do so.
- Fatty, oily stains can be mopped away with a cloth and some degreaser (only specific for textiles, please don't use the one for your oven) and same goes for coffee, tea or any other brews. For more thorough stains, use some natural soap and a drop of white vinegar. We hear baking soda also works wonders.
- Any wine, beer and liquor stains after a wild night? Just a damp cloth and some rubbing alcohol will do the trick (3 volumes of water for 1 volume of alcohol).
- On bloodstains - we won't ask whose it is just give you the care tip here - lots of cold water and that's it (no hot water as this would help the hemoglobin to fix).
For all the dust and debris that your Bomber might collect during your adventures, just use a special textile brush to make them fly away (extra care on the zipper which dirt tends to stick to).
Now, we've pretty much covered it all, it's bye from us for now and safe flight to you.

FYI, OUR B10 BOMBER IS SOFT ON YOU AND THE PLANET
Since 1 January 2024, the New French environmental legislation known as The AGEC Law stipulates transparency from our lot in the fashion industry so that you can make an informed purchase. As you can imagine, this is something that we fully support at Asphalte. So here's some additional information about our B10 Bombers:
- They’re 100% recyclable after being taken apart, which means that the day their services are no longer required every component can be fully recycled. If you stop wearing them for whatever reason, you might want to consider making someone else happy by passing them on to a friend, family member or donating them to a charity. The best way of reducing an item of clothing’s impact is by keeping it in circulation, and only recycling it when there really is no life or use left in it.
- Unlike many garments that release microplastics during washing, our B10 Bombers have been designed not to do so. Plastic microfibres are tiny particles of plastic that have a negative impact on aquatic and land ecosystems.
- They do not contain any hazardous materials. They’re manufactured in compliance with strict standards aimed at eliminating the use of harmful substances and other chemical nasties.
- They do not contain any recycled materials. We try and incorporate recycled materials whenever we can, unfortunately, it hasn’t been possible to do so with the B10 Bomber.
Thanks!
