Dear Slim…
Made from Italian denim, our Slim Jeans certainly aren’t shady
Where Your Slim Jeans Let You Down
1
The shape wasn’t right
2
They didn’t sit comfortably
3
The thigh wore out
4
The denim wasn’t tough enough
Fix up, look sharp
THE CLUE IS IN THE NAME
We’ll state the obvious here and say that the Slim Jeans have a slim fit. They’re not the Baggy Jeans, they’re not the Skinny Jeans and they’re most certainly not the Bootcut Jeans. If it’s sharp tapered legs you’re after, you’re lurking on the right URL.
BELLISSIMO TESSUTO
Jeans are only as good as the denim they’re made from—so we pulled out 100% of the stops with some thick 13oz Italian denim woven by the fine folks at Candiani. This lot have been weaving their magic since right back in 1938, so it’s safe to say they know their arcuate from their elbow.
CULTIVATED WITH CARE
The organic cotton used to make our denim is pretty special too. Cultivated regeneratively, it’s farmed in a sustainable way that works with the local ecosystem to give back to the soil —think old-fashioned crop rotation as opposed to modern monoculture.
STRETCH LEGSTRONG
To make sure you can actually move your legs, we threw a pinch of elastane into the pot. We didn’t use any old stuff either—we opted for a pioneering Japanese yarn called Roica renowned for its stretch and shape-holding properties. It’s biodegradable too.
PUT TO THE TEST
We knew our fabric sounded ace on paper, but to make sure it’d work out there in the real world of mud and concrete and pub furniture we put it through rigorous scrutiny, testing it for everything from elasticity to resistance to tearing. As you’d expect by the fact we’re talking about it right now—it passed in fine form.
THE ULTIMATE SLIM JEANS?
The Slim Jeans are maybe best described as the slightly slimmer younger brother of our much-loved Ultimate Jeans. They’re both made to last from really, really good denim—but these are just a touch sharper, with narrower legs giving them a sleek silhouette. They might not be THE Ultimate, but they’re hard to beat.
HEARTY HARDWEAR
Jeans have a hard life, so we gave ours a reassuringly tough YKK zip and a big metal button on the fly, along with rivets in all the key stress points. We made these to last.
TIMELESS TONES
They might be Slim Jeans, but they’re not slim pickings. We make them in three colours—Rinse, Stone and Black. Classic… time-honoured… tried-and-tested… call them what you will, these go with everything.
JEANS THAT STAY SLIM
As you’ve probably deduced, these aren’t your run-of-the-mill Slim Jeans. With that high-quality Italian denim with a clever touch of stretch, they’re one sharp pair of jeans that’ll stay that way, year after year, wash after wash.
