Two years of textile engineering

When we launched the first Ultimate Jeans, we were working with a jaw-dropping Japanese twill. The snag was that it didn't square with our commitment to EU production. So we went looking for an existing European alternative with just as much character, texture and soul. Impossible.

So we turned to the best in the business: Candiani, Italy's masters of top-quality, eco-responsible denim. After two years of development, our very own denim was ready, made exclusively for Asphalte. A 100% organic cotton selvedge with all the texture of a Japanese twill, but entirely European. Its what Ultimate Jeans’ve been made from ever since.

And our customers are pretty happy too, rating them: 9.1/10 for durability, 8.5/10 for comfort, 8.7/10 for fit. Quite the journey, quite the pair of jeans.
