What's all this about honeycomb?
The laws of nature
A honeycomb knit consists of lots of little cells that look like honeycomb, surprise, surprise. They trap a thin layer of air between the fabric and your skin, and as air’s the best insulator going, it’s pretty effective.
We opted for a dense 100% organic cotton that holds warmth when it's cool and lets air flow when the mercury rises. It’s both pre-washed and has a silicone treatment, so it feels incredibly soft from the very first wear.

How’s the fit?
Close-fitting, always comfortable
Good thermals are worn against the skin. The cut is close-fitting, snug enough to do its job as a first layer under a shirt or jumper, relaxed enough to wear on its own without looking suspect.
The length is spot on, no more riding up every time you raise your arms. All seams are flatlocked (flat seams, basically) so there's zero bulk under your other layers. And for those of you between two sizes, we recommend going for the bigger one.
Will it last?
Finishes that won't let you down
We’ve all had thermals that go a bit funny after a couple of washes. Not here. Our triple-layer collar with triple topstitching is made the same way as our Ultimate T-Shirt. And just like that one, it'll hold its shape no matter what.
The ribbing is made from 90% cotton with 10% elastane, so it stays put without being overly tight. The garments themselves are knitted and made in Portugal by Malhas Sonix, a workshop that specialises in knitwear and does nothing by halves. We built this tee so it’s still in your wardrobe in 10 years’ time, if you behave yourself.
