Cotton that breathes
The secret’s in the materials. The classic Perfect Jumper comes in Merino wool. Toasty, snug—just what you need for most of the year. But it can be a bit too good at its job from May through September. The Summer Perfect Jumper is made from 100% compact organic cotton. A super-tight knit that breathes more easily, keeping you cooler and wicking away pesky moisture whenever you get a bit worked up. It’s lighter too, weighing in at 490g vs 650g. You’ll feel the difference straight away. Other than that, it’s the same fully fashioned knit, made in Portugal, anti-bobble and holds its shape nicely. It’s a jumper for anyone who’s a bit sweaty in wool, allergic to Merino, or just needs something when it’s neither hot nor cold. Simple, really.

How's the fit, then?
Free as a bird
One of the best things about cotton is that it settles in fast. After a couple of wears, it’s found its groove. We’ve also developed a special saddle shoulder so that your shoulders have complete freedom. Driving, backpack on, changing a lightbulb… as we said, like a bird.
The fit’s just right—neither tight nor baggy. The sort of jumper you’ll throw over a tee or shirt without even thinking about it.
Last time round, you lot rated it 8.9/10 for comfort. But since you wanted a looser fit, we’ve gone half a size wider so we expect thanks.
Why the new version then?
8.7/10 for style, 8.6/10 for fit, 8.9/10 for all-day comfort and 8.6/10 for toughness. In truth, we weren’t expecting such an affectionate response for such a not-too-hot, not-too-cold mid-season layer. But if your kind words told us anything, it’s that a solution to navigate those five months per year when you don’t really know what to wear was justified. Lighter, cooler, but every bit as sturdy as the Perfect Jumper - some of you are wearing the first version that came out in 2021 and it still looks spot on. No pilling, no twisting, no nasty surprises after fifty washes. So yeah, as always, we couldn’t resist improving it further - we hope you’ll like it even more.
