What makes this fabric special?
The texture of its fibre and the precision of its weave
When you think of a work jacket, you expect a thick 100% cotton armour. The Summer Linen Jacket is a different story:
- a 100% French linen. Grown in northern France, it's strong, stable, breathable, absorbent, antibacterial, hypoallergenic… need we go on?
- finely spun, very tasty. We opted for a high yarn count to tap into linen's more noble characteristics. Brimming with character, only a little more refined.
- a balanced 275 g/m² weave. Well ventilated and with enough body to drape just like you want it. It's light enough to keep you cool, weighty enough to look the part.

What's the fit like?
A meeting of two worlds
This jacket has refinement and hard work in its blood. Relaxed chic on one side, serious functionality on the other.
- Straight cut and three patch pockets. Pure work jacket heritage: utility and range of movement.
- A Cuban collar. Better known on short-sleeve shirts, this fresh touch is firmly out of office.
- A compact linen to top it all off. To bring the whole thing together, we chose a compact yarn that keeps creasing in check. As effortless as it looks.

Am I making the right choice here?
You need to ask?
Linen has proven itself 1000 times over. We humans, have been using it for more than 10,000 years to make all sorts of things. It's a very strong, sustainable fibre with exceptional natural properties. France is also the world's leading producer. Ours is grown between Normandy and Belgium, and is European Flax certified, which vouches for its origin and environmental credentials. This stuff is grown the right way by folk treated properly. It's fully transparent and traceable from field to coat hanger. In short, you'll struggle to find a better raw material - it's as clean and local as it gets these days.
How does preordering work?
Basically, it means you buy the garment before it’s produced. By pre‑ordering, you’re the one launching the production.
With this system, we only produce what’s sold, so we avoid overproduction and can offer you an excellent quality‑price ratio.
