If your jumper’s bobbling, chances are the knit’s a bit slack. Lacks tension. We used a half-Milano knit—one of the densest out there—to keep things firmly in shape. It’s lighter than your usual Milano, but just as sturdy, denying fluff and bobbles the chance to thrive. Add to that 19.5 micron merino wool combed by Tollegno and you know it’s going to age beautifully.

Merino wool is the Swiss Army Knife of fibres, and it gets rave reviews for a reason. It keeps you toasty when it’s chilly, releases heat when it warms up a bit, and if you do run for a bus, it wicks away moisture.

You can wear this jumper on a boat in spring without breaking a sweat. Maybe leave it at home for your week on the Med in August, but for everything else, you’re sorted.
