How's it different to a regular Long-sleeve T-shirt?
A magic yarn that changes everything
The Merino Base Layer isn't just any old long-sleeve T-shirt. It's spun from 100% ultra-fine merino wool (19.5 microns, which is about four times finer than a human hair) with a long fibre for an unbelievably soft feel that never itches.
But the real star here is the yarn itself and its abundance of handy traits:
- temperature regulating: keeps you warm when it's chilly, and cool when it's hot
- breathable
- odour-resistant thanks to its natural antibacterial powers
- wrinkle-resistant
When it comes to the cut, we've gone for a tidy fit that follows your body's lines without clinging. Slide it under a jumper when it gets cold, or wear it solo year-round.

Will it still be around in a few years?
Built to soak up the years
We didn't knit this just to look pretty on a hanger. We built it to stick with you, year after year. Its dense jersey knit holds its shape, long-staple fibres mean less pilling, twin-needle stitching sees off wear and tear, and a reinforced collar stops it losing its shape.
All made in Portugal by people who know what they're doing, so we've stacked everything in its favour.

How do you care for it?
Handle it gently and it'll pay you back handsomely
Fun fact: you don't need to wash it after every wear. The fibre's structure naturally limits bacteria settling on your skin, which keeps it fresher for longer. Just air it out for a few hours between wears and you'll easily get 4 or 5 outings in before it needs a wash.
When the time comes, treat it with care — merino wool's got a gentle side and won't put up with the rough treatment cotton might. Wash it on a low temp, under 30°C, and go easy on the spin (400 rpm, max).
Dry it flat, away from direct sunlight. That's pretty much all you need to do to keep it going for years.
How does preordering work?
Basically, it means you buy the garment before it’s produced. By pre‑ordering, you’re the one launching the production.
With this system, we only produce what’s sold, so we avoid overproduction and can offer you an excellent quality‑price ratio.
