Does the fabric pull its weight?
Built like an ox
We selected an organic cotton which we then combed to get rid of all the shorter fibres. Keeping only the longest fibres gives it a softer feel and helps the final garment last way longer. Then we spun and knitted it into a 260gsm jersey - punchy. To put that in context, our Ultimate tee sits around 220gsm and the market average hovers around 150gsm.
The end product is heavy, with a real drape and a collar that won't budge. Like with all T-shirts, it’s the fabric that does most of the heavy lifting.

Is it cut oversized?
Roomy, but not silly
Oversize yes, sack of spuds no. We've just nudged the dimensions up a notch without compromising the cut:
- The shoulders sit a touch lower than usual
- The sleeves are a bit wider and a bit longer
- The length hits around the waist, so just right
Just take your usual size for a slightly relaxed look. No need to size down.

Will it last?
Solid through and through
We went through everything that usually gives out on a tee, so that it ages slowly and keeps looking its best year after year:
- The knit is dense enough that the tee won't lose its shape through wear.
- The collar is made from a tight knit that stays put even after dozens of encounters with the washing machine.
- When it comes to colour, we dye the yarn before making the tee. This locks it into the fibre better and means it won't run in the wash.
- Double topstitching on all the stress points (the lower body, the armholes, the shoulders). It’s a solid build.
