We wanted our Heavy Chinos to be tough, but we also wanted them to be comfortable. Here's the combo:

  • 97% organic cotton. That's the strong, soft, natural-fibre-against-your-skin part.
  • 3% elastane. It's not much, but it's enough to give the fabric some serious flexibility. We're not saying they’re yoga pants, just that that little 3% makes your chinos seriously liveable.
  • A properly substantial twill. Its 260 gsm are ready to stick around for years and years.

To make sure of it, we roll dyed the fabric. Instead of dunking the finished trousers into a dye bath, we dye the fabric before making them. Not only is the colour more even this way, it also means the pigments penetrate deeper into the fibres, making it last longer.
