A delicate hand

Poplin is usually reserved for shirts, but we weren’t having any of that. Enter a double-twisted organic cotton woven in Italy. Each thread is made of two strands twisted together, making a denser, softer cotton perfect for the task.

We also use a process called aerofinishing to soften it further. It uses air, just air, no chemicals involved. It makes the fabric feel seriously supple from the first wear, and just as importantly from each wear onwards. The reason your current boxers lost their softness after 10 washes is that the softener wore off. No risk of that happening here.

The art of disappearing

Too tight, and the waistband will autograph on your waist. Not cut properly, and the fabric will ride up the moment you sit down. We could go on for some time, but you probably get the idea by now. We’ve all experienced it. So we started from scratch to fix what needs fixing.

The cut is straight, mid-thigh, with the fork seam set back for a longer, cleaner drape. The elastic waistband is covered in fabric on both sides, so your skin never touches it. Small side vents give you room to move freely, no pulling.

All good, all organic

We selected an organic cotton, grown without pesticides, chemical fertilisers or GMOs. The producer has also adopted sustainable farming practices like crop rotation and natural compost. The result: healthier soil, a healthier ecosystem, and a top-quality fibre.
