You’ve got to be into the smell of wet wool, windswept wanderings, muddy boots, foggy commutes and over-crowded pub fireplaces. As it happens, we like all of those things, but to be safe we’ve lined up three items that’ll put a smile on the faces of even the most summer-centric Asphalte fans out there come winter. When you're an online preorder brand, you've got to stay ahead of the game. A long way ahead. We’ve got to get your valued input, create our collections, and do it all in time to have items with you on deadline. If we delivered swimwear in December and parkas in early June, we’d not be popular.

So, the autumn-winter 2023 collection’s one we've been working on for months if not years. From the very first co-creation questionnaire we pinged out, to research, pattern design, the sourcing of materials, selection of partners, adjusting of prototypes, photo shoots… well, you get the picture. It’s been a long time coming.

So excuse us for being excited to share it.

This AW23 collection will be filled with perfect classics: tops, bottoms, pumps, underwear and accessories, all made in Europe with the utmost care. But even amongst this stellar lineup, there’s a trio of items we're especially keen to shout about:

Put simply, this coat’s the most technically advanced piece we've ever produced. A majestic meeting of science, ingenuity, and style. It's both waterproof and breathable thanks to its innovative triple-layered structure. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-looking way to keep dry.

The iconic jumper traces its woolly roots to Scotland’s Shetland Islands. This heavy-duty knit started its story on grizzled boat hands and longshoremen before American students gave it a bit of an image redux in the ‘60s. Quite a story arc. Warm, comfortable and full of character - we’ve been keeping this one under wraps too long.

We’re betting you don’t need much explanation on this one… That’s right. We're releasing our very first pair of Slim Jeans with a hardwearing denim and sharp finish and of course the tapered cut from the knee down. We hope this satisfies the (many) fans of slim-fit jeans who wrote to us. Happy now?
