Care Guide for the Poplin Shirt
If you want your Poplin Shirt to keep its natural elegance, and youth, here are some tips to follow:
Step 1: Washing
We made our Poplin Shirt from, guess what, poplin. What the name doesn't reveal is that poplin is 100% cotton. That makes our Poplin Shirt easy to clean: At a max 30°C in the washing machine, with similar colours, of course.
For top-level care, use a mesh laundry bag. Pop your shirt in the bag, and then place it in the washing machine. Why the bag? It stops the shirt from being bashed around in the drum and from getting caught up in other clothes. A mesh laundry bag is also a good investment. as it can be useful for washing jumpers, and other delicates. And if you prefer to take your shirts to the dry-cleaners, that's fine too. Just no bleach.

Step 2: Drying
Now for the spin. Set the programme to a max 800rpm. Dry the shirt on a hanger. This way, the interfacing keeps its shape and the weight of the wet fabric helps minimise creasing.
A word of caution: don't hang your light-coloured shirts on a hanger made of untreated wood. Your shirt might bear the marking of the wood. Oh, and one more thing. Never tumble dry your shirt. You risk damaging the fibres. Tumble dryers are also big consumers of energy so it's worth avoiding when possible.

Step 3: Ironing
For a Poplin Shirt to look good, it mustn't have a crease in sight. Ironing is (almost) obligatory. Turn that dial up to a max 150°C, or 'cotton', depending on your iron.
Thank you
If you take care of it well our Poplin Shirt will age well so there's nothing stopping you wearing it in your every day, not just special occasions.
