Game, Set and Match

Super sharp shape

Back in the early days of polos, these collared sports shirts were the height of sophistication—worn only by the world’s premiere tennis stars. You asked us to take things back to that classy, halcyon era. We did: giving our Polo Shirt a refined, tailored shape. There’s still room to move, but it’s far from baggy.

Pique practice

Our Polo Shirt is made from organic pique cotton. Weighing in at 250g/m2, it’s a touch heavier than most polos, giving our shirt a bit more of a substantial feel. And as it’s pique cotton, it’s still got that crisp, breathable feel you’d want in a polo. Great for sports, even better for hot days doing absolutely nothing.

Tough stuff

Good news for fans of science, statistics and durable summer garb: our pique cotton passed the all-important Martindale rub test (yep, this is a real thing) with flying colours, scoring five-out-of-five. This means it’s reassuringly tough, and will hold up for many summers to come. Pique performance guaranteed.

Long staple, long life

Along with missing your train and scouring your shins on bike pedals, floppy polo collars are one of life’s top-tier irritations. To make sure ours stands firm, we made it from long-staple cotton. Not only is this stuff really tough, but it’s also super soft. Give your neck a treat.

Tennis elbows

We know what you’re thinking… “That collar sounds ideal, but what about the ribbed sleeve detail?” Well, we’re glad you asked—our sleeves feature 2.5cm ribbed hems so they sit just right on those arms of yours. The sleeves themselves are in pure Goldilocks territory too—they’re long enough to hide any unfortunate shoulder tattoos, without covering your elbows.

Room to move

Polos were designed with real sporting action in mind, so freedom of movement’s pretty important. To aid in that department, we added a vented hem for a bit of added manoeuvrability. Don’t feel you have to get sporty when you wear it, but at least you’ll be able to swing a cat, or a racket, without any chaffing.

Two’s company

Ever since the dawn of time, mankind has argued over how many buttons a polo shirt should have. We went with two. When it comes to swanky sportswear like this, less is most definitely more. Just think of the time you’ll save.

Classic colours

Choice paralysis. It’s real, and it’s no fun. And it most certainly applies to the polo shirt realm where every naff pattern, eye-watering colour, contrast collar and needless detail’s been tried over the last century. Luckily, we stuck with just four tried-and-tested tennis-inspired tones that’ll always look good.

Not just for tennis courts

Our Polo is sporty enough to be worn with shorts and some trainers, but that refined shape means it won’t look out of place paired up with some chinos and a chilled bottle of rose. Extra points for anyone who wears theirs whilst driving an MK2 VW Polo, scoffing a packet of Polo mints from the petrol station.
