That soft, fluffy texture? Thank carded yarn for that. Instead of getting the simple comb treatment, the Merino wool gets spun straight after washing and sorting, giving it that airy, soft feel. Carding also insulates more as the wool fibres trap more air, giving you a lot of bang for your buck.
