We'll keep this well, short – because caring for these is refreshingly straightforward.

After smashing your workout, simply chuck them in the wash. Normal cycle, 30°C, 800 spin, job done.

Just one thing to note: they're made from 73% recycled polyamide and 27% elastane. So they’re happy them in a washing bag before they go in the drum – it helps reduce those pesky microplastic fibres from escaping. Small effort, big difference.

Once washed, hang your shorts with a couple of pegs and they'll be dry in no time.

And if you're the type who likes perfectly pressed activewear, you can iron them. Just keep it under 110°C to avoid scorching the fabric.

Since 1 January 2024, the New French environmental legislation known as The AGEC Law stipulates transparency from our lot in the fashion industry so that you can make an informed purchase. As you can imagine, this is something that we fully support at Asphalte. So here's some additional information about our Sports Shorts:

• Unfortunately they’re not recyclable. If you stop wearing them for whatever reason, you might want to consider making someone else happy by passing them on to a friend, family member or donating them to a charity. The best way of reducing an item of clothing’s impact is by keeping it in circulation.
• They contain microplastics. As is often the case with technical gear, the Sports Shorts contain synthetic materials.
• They do not contain any hazardous materials. They’re manufactured in compliance with strict standards aimed at eliminating the use of harmful substances and other chemical nasties.
• They contain recycled materials. Our recycled polyamide yarn features the patented Q-CYCLE BY FULGAR® technology, an Italian textile innovation that repurposes used tyres to create virtually indestructible threads.
