Because it’s crisp and keeps its shape.
- And not just for special occasions. We set out to make an affordable, responsible jumper that doesn’t compromise on quality. So, we’ve focused on four non-negotiables:
- A shrewd blend of virgin and recycled fibres. We’ve gone for 35% virgin cashmere and 65% recycled cashmere. And if you’re wondering why it's not 100% recycled, it’s because recycled fibres tend to be shorter, so a little less sturdy. By combining long (virgin) with shorter (recycled) fibres, we get the best balance of softness, strength, and durability.
- A dense 3-ply knit. While most settle for cheaper, flimsier 2-ply, we’ve raised the bar: stronger, sturdier, and built to last.
- Certified recycling. Our recycled cashmere comes from Filati Naturali in Italy. In short, pre-loved knits are sorted and spun into new yarns. They’re also tracked from start to finish to minimise impact and make sure there’s no funny business going on.

It’s as straight as they come.
No, not really.
- Myths die hard, and cashmere’s the proof. Caring for cashmere isn’t what people make it out to be. Yes, it’s more sensitive than your old gym kit, but there’s not a lot to worry about:
- For a start, it loves water. Unlike sheep’s wool, cashmere goat’s will thank you for getting it wet. The more often you wash your New Cashmere, the softer it becomes — just one of the fibre’s many quirks. There’s no need to dunk it every morning, but it’s worth keeping that titbit stored somewhere in your melon for when the time comes.
- Washing isn’t rocket science. Hand wash in cool, soapy water or pop it in the machine on a wool cycle at 20°C—job done. The bit you need to watch is the spin: no more than 400 rpm. And if you’re hand-washing, go easy. No wringing it out - it’s not a mop. Fold it and press down gently to get rid of excess water.
- Dry flat. And please don’t even think about the tumble dryer. The best option is to lay your New Cashmere flat on a towel and let it relax. Don’t hang it up—the weight of wet knit can stretch it out of shape.
How does preordering work?
Basically, it means you buy the garment before it’s produced. By pre‑ordering, you’re the one launching the production.
With this system, we only produce what’s sold, so we avoid overproduction and can offer you an excellent quality‑price ratio.
