TIRELESS FATIGUES
The Military Shorts are our take on the classic military fatigue design. Sort of like stripped-back cargo shorts, they’re perfect for walking, camping, pootling around by the lake…Whatever other adventures you got planned.
MADE FROM STERN STUFF
Like the original fatigues worn by the US Army in the ‘50s, we made our Military Shorts from 300g/m2, two-ply, 100% organic, breathable sateen cotton. Bit of a mouthful that—but in layman’s terms, it’s tough stuff.
SERIOUSLY SLICK
Whilst some heavy-duty fabrics can be a little bit on the coarse side, that sateen cotton has a crisp, satin-y feel to it. Slicker than a non-stick frying pan, you’ll be the fastest down the slide at the adventure playground.
GET SHORTY
Short, but not too short, the Military Shorts have a classic mid-length shape so the hem sits comfortably above the knee. You’ll be pleased to hear that these are a long way from ‘shants’ territory.
TRIED AND TESTED
The Military Shorts went through three prototypes before they got to the majestic state they’re in today. Based on our ultra-comfy (and ultra-tidy) Tough Trousers, they’re honed and refined for modern life.
FOUR IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
With those four big patch pockets there’s more than enough room for all those important bits and bobs you can’t live without. We even reinforced the stitching, so you won’t have to spend half your holiday combing the beach for your house keys.
ZIP IT
Backing up that tough fabric there’s a reassuringly hefty YKK zip, along with some particularly tasty horn and corozo buttons keeping those back pockets - not to mention the fly - secure. Details matter.

The Military Shorts were made in Portugal by Expotime, the same skilled bunch who made our Heavy Chinos and our Light Trousers. If you were lucky enough to grab them, you know what fine work this lot do.

We deliver worldwide. For orders in selected European countries* including the UK, we charge a flat fee of 9€ irrespective of how many pieces of the same item you order. For deliveries in the rest of Europe and outside of the EU, the cost is 15€.
Easy to change sizes
If you get the wrong size, fear not, we accept returns and exchanges. For orders in Europe these are free, and for countries, in the rest of the world we ask you to pay the return and we will take care of the cost of sending out an exchange. Just log into your Asphalte account and we’ll get that sorted.
