The Jersey Polo with Pedigree

The comfort and practicality of a T-shirt infused with the effortless style of a Polo. It's the best of both worlds in one versatile package.

Worth the wait

Been looking forward to this Jersey Polo like the Game of Thrones finale?

Well, here’s the good news: it’s not a betrayal-ridden free-for-all TV series with a disappointing end and this one will be arriving bang on time— that’s the 11th of February, 10 am CET.

Fun fact: The Polo was the most anticipated item in our co-creation questionnaire, taking top spot out of 29. Safe to say, you lot are as excited as we are.

The best of both worlds

The Jersey Polo was born to blend everything we love about a T-shirt and a Polo.

The T-shirt: Humble beginnings, iconic status

It started life as 19th-century underwear, a base layer or pyjamas that no one would get to see.

Then, as wars tend to do, everything changed. American GIs ditched their heavy uniforms for light, breezy tees and never went back.

Back home, Hollywood gave the T-shirt its moment. James Dean swaggered onto the big screen in Rebel Without a Cause (1955), and just like that, the T-shirt became a symbol of rebellion, freedom, and cool.

From then on, the T-shirt became a blank canvas for designers, a marketing tool, and a wardrobe staple. A cultural icon was born.

The Polo: Sport’s stylish reinvention

In the 1920s, René “Le Crocodile” Lacoste had enough of stuffy sportswear—trousers, long-sleeved shirts, and even jumpers.

The tennis legend created a lightweight, breathable polo shirt with short sleeves in a cotton piqué weave.

It was a game-changer that quickly bounced off the court and onto the golf course, polo fields, and preppy wardrobes across the US. JFK wore it in the White House, cementing its place as a timeless classic—a Grand Slam.

Now, what would you get if you took the best bits of these two legends and blended them into one? A Jersey Polo, that’s what.

Enter the Jersey Polo: The perfect fusion

But this isn’t some Frankenstein cut’n’shut job. We’ve taken the strongest elements of both to create something fresh, balanced, and effortlessly stylish.

We’ve kept the 100% organic cotton jersey of the T-shirt. Comfy, straight and eternally simple.

From the Polo, we’ve borrowed, the classic collar, casual elegance and that touch of originality.

What you’re left with is a little marvel of understated charm. Somewhere between a tee and a shirt, it’s an instant classic.

Not just a detail

Have you clocked the distinct finish of the Jersey Polo?

That’s no accident. It’s all thanks to a ‘Stone Wash’ primer. Here’s how it works: the dyed fabric goes into a giant washing machine with stones. These masterfully wear the surface, giving it a lived-in look and feel that’s as unique as it is beautiful. A bit like your favourite old tee, but straight out of the box. Stunning.

Preorder kicks off Tuesday

Mark your calendar: The Jersey Polo is up for preorder at 59€ starting next Tuesday.

For something 100% made in Portugal with organic cotton jersey, it’s more than a fair price (you’d usually be looking at shelling over 90€). Thank our preordering model and your admirable patience for that.

Take your pick from five cracking colours: charcoal, navy, bronze, off-white, and white with navy stripes.

Fancy it? Don’t hang about. This one’s bound to fly. If you miss it, you’ll have to hope it resurfaces at one of our stock sales where the price will jump to 79€ to reflect the added inventory costs.

So as usual, to avoid missing out, sign up for the alert just below. The first to place their preorder will be the first to receive delivery.
