DUCK OR DENIM?
One jacket, three sturdy work-approved fabrics—hearty French duck canvas, 12oz Japanese denim or 13oz Italian denim. Yep, it’s not an easy decision, but whichever you go for, rest assured it’s been woven to last as our Ultimate Jeans, Zip Jacket and Ideal Jacket can attest.
PRAISE THE CORD
To up the luxury stakes a bit, we lined our collar with some wide-waled French corduroy. Not only does this stuff feel ace, but it adds a slight refined flavour. Picture the construction worker who packs a Ferrero Rocher in their bait box.
STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
This might be inspired by classic workwear design, but the shape is anything but old school. Cut straight, with plenty of room to move and handle a jumper when need be.
HEAVY METAL
As you can see, those big metal buttons are pretty special. They’re shiny, they’re chunky and they’re guaranteed to set off the buzzer when you walk through airport security… what more could you want?
POCKETS ‘A’ PLENTY
Tape measure? Overly chunky carpenter’s pencil? Half-eaten sandwich? Thanks to those three sizeable front patch pockets, there’s more than enough space for whatever it is you like to lug around. And for the really important stuff, there’s an inside zipper pocket too.
WORKWEAR YOU CAN ACTUALLY WEAR
Whilst some old work jackets you find at vintage markets are lined with thick wool, we choose to keep ours unlined to open up the options a bit. Yep—it’ll still work as a layering piece on a cold and frosty morning, but because it’s just made of cotton, it won’t be too stifling for a summer evening.
MADE WITH LOVE
The Workwear Jacket was crafted by the fine folk at Cortexil in Portugal. This lot are dab hands at making solid workwear—if you were lucky enough to bag one of our Denim or Zip Jackets then you’ll know what we’re on about.
THE FANTASTIC FOUR
A Black Denim from Namora in Japan, A Stone Denim from Candiani in Italy and a Navy Duck Canvas and Green Duck Canvas from Telatex in France… four classic work-ready tones for a modern workwear jacket that will age gracefully. Whatever your trade, the Workwear Jacket has got your back.
