The hard work behind the Easy Shirt

SEERSUCKER PUNCH

The Easy Shirt is made from 165 g/m2 organic seersucker cotton. Thanks to the way it’s been woven, it’s got a loose, crinkly texture that helps with air circulation and heat dissipation. In short, it’s light, breezy and perfect for stuffy summer days.

EASY, NOT CREASY

This shirt might be lightweight, but you’ll be pleased to hear it’s still sturdy enough for serious regular wear. In fact, when we sent it to the lab for testing, it scored 4 out of 5 for durability. Tough... breezy... crease-free... maybe you can have it all?

BUTTON-DOWN THE HATCHES

The collar is often the first part of a shirt to give up the ghost, so we reinforced ours with canvas to make sure it stayed strong. That button-down design keeps things nice and sharp too. Not all summer clothing need make you look like you’re on holiday in a Florida shopping mall.

ROOM TO BREATHE

As you’d expect from something called the Easy Shirt, this beauty has a relatively relaxed, comfortable shape, with plenty of room to move. After all, tight clothes and hot weather aren’t exactly a great combo.

EARN YOUR STRIPES

There’s something about a candy stripe that instantly makes clothes look approximately 86% more summery. Just ask the Beach Boys... or whoever first had that great idea of painting big stripes on a beach hut. Anyway, we opted for three classic stripy combos. Bask in the splendour.

ON A ROLL

Our fabric was dyed in rolls so those colours keep their zest for longer. But don’t take our word for it—in the fancy lab test it scored 5 out of 5 for colour fastness. Can’t argue with that.

SWEET AS A NUT

Corozo is a really classy organic material that comes from a special type of Ecuadorian nut. Why are we telling you this? Well, it’s what our buttons are made from. It’s tough, it looks good, and it gives you something to chat about next time conversation is running dry.

IN THE POCKET

As you might have noticed, the Easy Shirt has a pocket on the chest. We’re fully aware that not many people actually make use of these pockets, but still—it’s nice to have the option. You never know when you’re going to find that lucky shell down on the beach.

EASY BY NAME, EASY BY NATURE

The Easy Shirt is particularly easy to wear. Like an Oxford Shirt, it’ll go with everything from jeans to shorts—smartened up or dressed down. Put it on and take it easy.

Traceability

What goes into making your Easy Shirt. The materials have travelled a total of 5,751 km (3,573.5 miles) from field to doormat.
