Too hot for trousers? Think again

Yep, we know what you’re thinking; ‘Summer Trousers’ sounds like a bit of an oxymoron doesn’t it? Surely a pair of hard-wearing trousers in summer is about as much use as a milk-chocolate fireguard?

But think deeper—think harder. Wouldn’t it be nice to give the shorts a rest in summer? Wouldn’t it be nice to wear something a little classier? Wouldn’t it be nice to not get mistaken for the postman?

That’s what we thought when we made the Summer Trousers. Designed to add a bit of sophistication to those stifling August days, they’re a lightweight pair of pants that keep you cool right through the endless summer.

The secret to our Summer Trousers is in the fabric. Or the fabrics, to be precise—there’s two versions, both built with hot weather in mind. Here’s what we used…

Breezy Fabric One — 240g/m2 cotton. Soft. Breathable. Very classy.

Breezy Fabric Two — 275g/m2 linen. Seriously cool. Woven in Italy. Tasty.

Elegance and summer are two words not usually used in the same sentence, but with their classic, relaxed shape and gently tapered legs our Summer Trousers prove that you can still look sharp when the sun comes out.
