Here's a one-page guide to keeping your bomber in shape - it’ll only take a mo to read.
Washing it
Once a year should do it when it comes to washing unless something major goes wrong… It’s best to wash it at the end of the cold season before it takes some well-earned time off.
We don’t recommend bunging it in the wash, as you can imagine the 80% wool content and the jacket’s weight make that a daunting prospect. The dry cleaner’s the only safe way to scrub up your bomber.
Summer Hibernation
In early spring, your jacket will likely become surplus to immediate requirement. While you wait for the frost to return, pop your recently cleaned bomber on a broad hanger inside a protective cover so it can enjoy a rest. A storage box can also do the trick. Either way, a small bag of lavender nearby will keep moths from feasting on that lovely wool.
Told you it was a quick one…
That’s all there is to it! You now know everything there is to know about looking after your Winter Bomber. If we've missed something or you have any questions hit us up in the comment section below or here support@asphalte.com.
We'll be back in touch in a couple of weeks to see how you're getting on.
Until then,
