Made for life

It’s only the beginning

Think they look good now? Just you wait... The Raw Boots combine comfort and durability with supple leather that’ll develop a cracking patina over time. From the choice of raw materials to their technical construction, we've pulled out all the stops to ensure these’ll do the job anywhere, any time, for years to come - developing all the more character along the way.

Luxurious Leather/Sumptuous Suede

The Raw Boots were made to be the toughest boots on the block, so we opted for reassuringly sturdy yet supple calfskin leather, available in either smooth leather or suede.

Patina’s in the post

That top-notch calfskin leather’s got one more trick up its sleeve: it marks easily. You might think that’s nothing to shout about, but it’s a key feature of the Raw Boots. Areas of repeat flexing discolour, and each scratch or graze leaves its mark on the upper. The result’s a pair of boots that grow in character with each and every wear. Patina that tells a story, as standard.

No Pain, All Gain

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to undergo seven weeks of painful blisters before your boots finally break-in. Thanks to that supple leather ours are comfy straight out of the box, feeling worn-in from the get-go.

All Good

Our secret weapon in our fight against flimsy footwear? The Goodyear welt. This is that nifty bit of stitching that attaches the uppers to the sole, helping to add structure to the boots, whilst also keeping the rain out. It’s no wonder this shoe-making technique has been loved by footwear aficionados since 1869…

High and Dry

Wet feet aren’t much fun, so we added a waterproof insert where the upper meets the sole, ensuring these’ll keep your trotters dry during a downpour. We’d still advise against wearing them down at in the pool, but for 97% of situations, they’ll keep your feet dry.

All Grip, No Slip

The Raw Boots are served up on reassuringly grippy lug soles. Made in Portugal and designed with wet pavements in mind, these’ll keep you firmly on two feet whilst everyone else is sliding around like Bambi’s roller-skating cousin.

By Hook or By Crook

Lacing up boots can take an eternity, so to cut down on the lace-based faff, ours have ‘speed hooks’ where the top eyelets would usually go. You’ll never be late again…

Mission accomplished

Making the Raw Boots was a passion project for us. Inspired by the classic American work boots of yore, we spent years designing and testing them, and are confident we’ve added a new chapter to the work boot history books. Above all, they sum up what we’re all about: making durable, sustainable clothes accessible at a fair price.
