If you're after some practical tips on cleaning your Balmacaan Overcoat, you're in the right place.

Couldn’t be easier. Air your Balmacaan Overcoat for a few minutes after each wear and hang it on a wide-shouldered coat hanger.

The beauty of its wool flannel, made from 50% carded wool and 50% Merino wool, is that it's odourless and self-cleaning. The structure of the wool fibres stops bacteria from multiplying, which keeps the fabric feeling fresh for a long time.

A trip down to the dry cleaners once or twice a year is plenty. Don’t try and wash it at home, even by hand. It won’t like it. When you do get it dry cleaned, always check its condition before you leave the premises. You can never be too careful.

Wo nicht gewaschen wird, muss auch nicht getrocknet werden. Und trotzdem.

Falls nötig, legt sie flach hin oder hängt sie auf einen runden Kleiderbügel (wie beim Schneider), damit die Schultern nicht aus der Form gehen.
